Shared vs dedicated proxies
Shared is cheaper because other customers use the same address. Whether that matters depends on what you are doing with it.
What changes
On the datacenter line the shared plan starts at $1.25 per IP and the dedicated plan at $1.90. Shared includes a traffic allowance with extra GB billed. Dedicated is not metered. Premium adds a fresh IP nobody has used.
Use shared for
Testing, light scraping and spreading a low request rate over many addresses. See cheap shared proxies.
Use dedicated or premium for
Accounts you cannot afford to lose, targets that rate-limit shared ranges, and workloads that need unmetered traffic. See cheap dedicated proxies.
Frequently asked questions
How can I tell if sharing is hurting me?
Run the same test on a shared and a dedicated IP, then compare success rates on your target. The difference, if any, is the price of dedicated.
Try it for $5
Minimum top-up is $5. Run your own target through it before you scale.
