Cheap SOCKS5 proxies, at the same price as HTTP
The protocol is a setting, not a product. Every line supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and picking SOCKS5 does not change the price.

What SOCKS5 gives you
SOCKS5 forwards raw TCP connections, so it works for traffic that is not web pages: chat clients, torrent-style tools, game launchers, database connections and anything else that lets you set a SOCKS proxy. HTTP proxies understand web requests only.
For plain scraping with a library like requests or Playwright, HTTP and SOCKS5 behave the same, so use whichever your tool supports best.
Prices
The same price list applies whichever protocol you pick: datacenter from $1.25 per IP per month, ISP from $2.10, residential from $1.75 to $5.50 per GB depending on volume.
Authentication
Username and password is the default and works everywhere. Some SOCKS5 clients cannot send credentials, which is when IP whitelisting is the fallback.
Frequently asked questions
Is SOCKS5 more anonymous than HTTP?
Not by itself. Anonymity comes from the IP you exit through and what your client leaks, not from the protocol.
Does SOCKS5 cost extra?
No. It is a protocol choice on any line.
Which tools support SOCKS5?
Most browsers via extensions, curl, Python with the right adapter, and many desktop apps. Check the tool for a SOCKS5 option, and for username and password support.
Try it for $5
Minimum top-up is $5. Run your own target through it before you scale.
