Most scraping, SEO and monitoring tools speak HTTP and HTTPS proxy. That is the default to reach for, and it does not cost extra on any line.

HTTP, HTTPS and what the difference is
An HTTP proxy understands web requests. An HTTPS target is reached through the same proxy by a CONNECT tunnel, so the proxy sees the destination host but not the page contents. Every web-scraping library supports this form.
If the application is not a web client, use SOCKS5 instead.
Using one
curl --proxy http://USER:PASS@HOST:PORT https://api.ipify.orgThe ten-minute test runs five checks through exactly this form before you spend more.
Price
Protocol is not a price tier. The price list is the same whichever you pick: datacenter from $1.25 per IP per month, ISP from $2.10, residential from $5.50 per GB for a single GB down to $1.75 per GB at 1,000 GB.
Frequently asked questions
Do HTTP proxies work for HTTPS sites?
Yes. The client asks the proxy for a CONNECT tunnel to the HTTPS host, and the encrypted traffic passes through it.
Should I use HTTP or SOCKS5?
Use HTTP for web scraping because the tooling is more mature. Use SOCKS5 when the application is not a web client. The comparison guide covers both.
Try it for $5
Minimum top-up is $5. Run your own target through it before you scale.
