What you are paying for

A residential proxy routes your request through an IP address that belongs to a household internet connection rather than a data centre. Sites treat those addresses as ordinary visitors, which is why residential proxies get through where datacenter addresses are blocked on sight.

You buy them by traffic, not by address. One order is a pool of gigabytes you spend at your own pace. The more you buy in one order, the lower the per-GB rate for that order.

How cheap is cheap here

The honest answer depends on volume. A single gigabyte costs $5.50. At 10 GB the rate is $3.95, and at 1,000 GB it reaches $1.75. Some providers advertise a lower entry price per GB, usually on a smaller pool or a plan that expires. Check what the cheaper number is attached to before you compare.

Traffic you buy does not come with a monthly meter that resets, so a quiet month does not cost you the balance.

Where residential is worth it, and where it is not

Use residential proxies where the target blocks datacenter ranges: search engine results, retail price pages, ad verification, localised content checks. For targets that do not block datacenter addresses, you will usually pay less per request with a datacenter or ISP line, because those are rented per IP and not metered per GB.

  • Small or occasional jobs: buy 5 to 10 GB and spend it over weeks.
  • Heavy, repeat scraping: buy the bigger rung once instead of topping up in small amounts.
  • Pages that are mostly images or video: measure the page weight first, because you pay for every byte.

Renewals and top-ups

Renewing an existing rotating pool is priced at $5.50 per GB, the single-GB rate, not at the volume rung of your first order. If you know you will keep using the product, buy the larger order up front.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to buy residential proxies here?

Buy the largest volume you will realistically use. The rate falls from $5.50 per GB at 1 GB to $1.75 per GB at 1,000 GB, and the price you configure is the price you pay.

Do residential proxies expire?

Residential traffic is sold as a pay-as-you-go order with no monthly term. Read the order summary at checkout for the exact terms on your order.

Can I choose a country?

Country, region and city targeting are options on the per-IP ISP and datacenter lines. The rotating residential line is sold as a pool by the GB.

Are cheap residential proxies safe to use?

Safe depends on the provider, not the price. Look for published rules on how IPs are sourced and what use is allowed, and test a small order before you commit to a big one.
